My idea is too make a skeleton necklace. I came up with this idea mainly because I like skeleton stuff. So I googled skeletons so that I can make it look some what accurate. Anyways I was planing on MAYBE painting the skeleton a pearl white or a mocha brown color for character.
I think the pearl white would be cool, especially if it were shiny/reflected light?

ReplyDeleteI agree with Stephanie, though maybe you could use the mocha color to accent it a bit and give it a bit more depth. Ha ha it would be cool if maybe you could paint it with glow in the dark paint, if that would even work.

ReplyDeleteI like the skeleton dude, but DAMN that is complex. If you can pull it off I'd love to see it. I'd probably start with basic shapes and go from there? But that's just me. I like the idea of an interactive piece that doesn't necessarily need to conform to the body. Cool stuff.
ReplyDeleteHow big is the skeleton going to be? I was wondering if it was going to interact with the body or just hang there. I think maybe having the skeleton wrap around some part of your body instead of just hanging around your neck might be interesting. Or making the skeleton part of what goes around your neck... maybe it still hangs off your neck but it's hands are what encircle your neck instead of a chain.

ReplyDeleteI pictured this in my mind, and think that it'll be really cool when its all done.. are you going to make each individual bone and make a 3D small scale skeleton, or are you going to make it a 2D image. Maybe you can incorporate both, but i agree with patrick, I think that would look so sick if you were to have it holding on to your neck rather than dangling from it...
