Mia's wire sketches

This a bird's beak attached to wings as well, which would be worn on the face and connect down the back somehow.
This is a wire boot idea...
This is a wire bird beak idea that would attach to the face and head somehow...
This is a wire hat idea...

This is a wire dress idea...there will be a lot more details later.

  2. I think you should do the wired boots in black and maybe a crimson red for details. How do you plan on designing them? You should add a cushion for the inside of the boots so that your feet don't hurt from walking in them laugh.

  3. Lots of idea...personally, I don't think you should do the bird just because you already did one. Expand your horizons! I really like the dress, seems sorta Tim Burton-esque. If your bird was any semblance, I think you'd be great at making another item like that.

  4. I think the boots might be your best bet in terms of maneuvering the wire. You could get more freeform with curving the wire around your leg in multiple ways. It would be neat if you added lace to make it a sort of lace up boot or something like that.

  5. I like how they are all a type of clothing. I also like that you are still incorperating the bird woman in some of it as well. But i think the boot will be the best

  6. Hey Mia,

So I think the boot and or dress ideas are great. I seen your miniature boot in class and it looked pretty amazing for a maquette. The only problem i see is getting the foot in the boot. You'd probably have to make the boot a little larger to ensure that your foot gets in with out bending or ruining it. As for the dress, I got the tim burton feel too, and it looks amazing. personally i think the dress would be easier for me, but you have some pretty good ideas. Good luck on choosing a design!
